The origin of Tarot cards date back to the 1400's, when they were believed to have been devised for playing a trumping card game called Tarocchi. Early Tarot symbols were deeply rooted in Medieval and Renaissance Europe, but over the centuries Tarot cards have grown to incorporate everything from Astrology and Kabbalah. Since the 1700's, Tarot cards have been widely used for fortune telling and divination by many mystics across the globe.
Cindy’s card readings utilize the Gypsy Tarot deck, which are from an Edwardian era set in Vienna. They are illustrated in charming water-coloured pen-and-ink art depicting images circa 1900. Each card is identified at the bottom with its name in 6 languages: German, English, French, Italian, Hungarian, and Croatian.
